Tians are earthenware mixing bowls that were originally made in Narbonne, France, but can now be found throughout Provence and other regions. They were traditionally used to prepare popular French dishes like cassoulet; today, the handcrafted clay bowls have become multi-purpose, used for everything from cooking ratatouille to displaying fruit and flowers. Our tians for the oven are just as versatile as tians made hundreds of years ago! Their ability to gently slow-cook ingredients means your meals come out consistently cooked with robust flavors and a perfect balance between a creamy interior and golden, crisp crust. They’re also difficult to find outside of France – making them a wonderful conversation piece. Shop Bram tians above!
