Tall halas, or cocottes, as they’re known in France, are extremely versatile covered casserole pots. They’re perfect for a wide range of meals, including soups, stews, pot roasts, and braised meats. Like other Bram Cookware, our hand-painted halas can be used on the stove, in ovens, or even in wood-fired ovens. And since they’re handmade in Egypt, each of our halas is completely unique! They’re also great for reheating food or as serveware, as the terra cotta holds in the heat and prevents food from getting cold too quickly.
