We love the thick, sturdy feel of this little round bean pot that also doubles as a covered casserole deep enough for braising or stewing.
It’s ideal for about a pound of beans, depending on the variety. Just dump in some very good quality, freshly dried beans (We love Rancho Gordo’s!), maybe a clove or two of garlic, or some onion, cover with at least two inches of water and cook away. Then, use those cooked beans in any number of dishes from salads to soups, or even solo with a pinch of salt. Simple and delicious!
